Sarah our Environmental Affairs Manager was most recently the Head of Sustainable Consumption and Production for the North West Regional Development Agency. Sarah has a degree in Chemistry and Environmental Pollution Science and an MSc in Environmental Quality Management. Prior to joining the North West Regional Development Agency Sarah spent eight years working in various roles within the Environment Agency pollution control and waste regulation departments, became a Waste Policy Adviser in the Welsh Assembly Government Waste Strategy Unit and then worked on various regional recycling market development initiatives with WRAP.
Sarah will focus on continuing to develop our external liaison in the UK and abroad, building structural networks and bringing additional groups together to influence the longer term development of WEEE and our access to it, and help continue to embed Repic as the premier brand in the market whilst maintaining a keen eye on legislative changes in the broadest sense.

Alan our commerical Manager has extensive experience in the waste management sector, having worked in a variety of roles for both local authorities and recycling companies. These roles include Waste Management Manager for Rotherham Borough Council, Environment Manager for Liverpool City Council and Business Development and Operations Manager for FRC Group (Bulky Bob's). Alan's most recent role has been as consultant Project Manager for London Borough of Newham, introducing new recycling wheeled bins across the borough.
Amongst other things Alan will be developing some of the specific member or other WEEE projects where we know our members have an interest in running WEEE "amnesty days" or promotional activities.
