AIWOLG – Agencies and Industry WEEE Operational Liaison Group
AIWOLG is made up of industry representatives who discuss and address the operational issues surrounding the WEEE Regulations
AMDEA – Association of Manufacturers or Domestic Appliances
AMDEA is the Lead Trade Association for domestic appliances in the UK. It provides input to help shape draft European Directives; to draw up Unilateral Commitments to make energy saving and environmentally friendly products; to offer constructive input to UK Regulations; to create and revise international, European and UK standards on safety and performance; and to supervise approvals and certification procedures.
BEAMA – British Electrotechnical and Allied Manufacturers Association
BEAMA is a trade body representing the interests of a collection of trade associations in the energy and power industry.
ICER – Industry Council for Electronic Equipment Recycling.
ICER is a cross-industry association focusing on waste electrical and electronic equipment. It is a unique source of knowledge and expertise on WEEE and the key forum for industry to get together and channel views to decision-makers in government
Intellect is the technology trade association and represents more than 780 companies.
Portable Batteries Stakeholder Group
Portable Batteries Stakeholder Group informs and advises DEFRA on progress and issues arising with the system collecting waste portable batteries.
SEAMA – Small Electrical Appliance Marketing Association
SEAMA represents the interests of its members who are importers and manufacturers of small electrical appliances in the UK.
The WEEE Forum is a knowledge and data sharing organisation formed by the other producer led national European WEEE compliance schemes. It has 38 members representing 27 EU countries plus Norway and Switzerland

This is the UK body comprising many of the UK’s WEEE Producer Compliance Schemes which provides a Forum to input into the UK and European legislative process.
