REPIC Retail Take-back Scheme

REPIC provides a national WEEE take-back solution for retailers, that offers the following:

  • An alternative to joining the Distributor Take-back Scheme to meet your Distributor obligations under the WEEE Regulations 2006 if you opt to undertake in-store take-back of WEEE or collect WEEE from your customer's home.

  • Collection from your premises at an agreed local price:

    • - The collector will arrange the production of the appropriate hazardous waste consignment notes.

      - You may require a hazardous waste premises registration. This is a simple process and can be obtained on-line on the Environment Agency's website at a fee set by the government.

      - Subject to collector's terms and conditions and minimum collection volumes apply.

  • Treatment of WEEE collected under these arrangements free of charge at Approved Authorised Treatment Facilities nominated by REPIC, subject to signature of REPIC's Terms and Conditions.

  • Alternatively you may choose to deliver WEEE that you collect directly to an Approved Authorised Treatment Facility nominated by REPIC for treatment free of charge as provided by the WEEE Regulations 2006.

  • Covers all main WEEE categories:

      - Large Household Appliances
      - Display Equipment (TVs and Monitors)
      - Cooling Appliances
      - All other WEEE

  • Comprehensive coverage across the UK using authorised local collectors.
